What is an Unconference?
At an unconference, topics arenât served on a silver platter. Instead, participants bring their own ideas to the table â forks in hand â ready to share, split, or pick their favorites. There are no predefined speakers or schedules, so the âmenuâ of topics is entirely open.
Whether youâre a beginner or an advanced developer, whether you focus on frontend, backend, or just love tech from the sidelinesâthereâs always something to sink your fork into!
And donât worry, thereâs plenty of coffee and breaks. After all, the conversations are the heart (and fork) of an unconference.
How does a conference like this work?
It starts with a pre-party on Friday eveningâa chance to stir things up and clink glasses before the main event. On Saturday, we kick things off with a big round of introductions, because itâs always good to know who youâre sharing the table with. Then, itâs time to lay out the topics: participants pitch their ideas, and we vote democratically.
Forkshops and talks unfold across multiple rooms, offering a buffet of content for everyone. Between sessions, thereâs plenty of coffee and food to keep the conversation flowing.
The evening wraps up with an after-show party, and on Sunday, we do it all again: propose, vote, discuss, and feast on ideas (and actual food).
Who is organizing this conference?
This unconference is forked and hosted by FireGento e.V., with the help of four people whoâve already brought flavor to the Magento community and now want to serve up something special for Shopware enthusiasts:
Carmen, Claudia, Fabian, Rico

We provide professional child care on Saturday and Sunday throughout the event in TOR28.
The child care is located right next to the conference rooms in a quiet place.
Yet it is so close that the children can always get to their parents if needed.
Same is possible for you: You can always get to your forks, whenever you miss them or want to make sure they're happy.
Please make sure to book a special ticket for them so we know how many care takers we need!
